NEBULIZER AEROSOL THERAPY

Description

Begin by assembling your nebulizer according to the manufacturer’s instructions.
Ensure all parts are clean and dry.
Prepare the medication by measuring the prescribed dose using a syringe or dropper.
If the medication needs to be mixed with saline, do so as instructed.
Pour the medication into the nebulizer’s medication cup.
Connect the nebulizer to the air compressor and place the mouthpiece in your mouth or use a face mask if preferred.
Turn on the compressor to begin the treatment.
Breathe in slowly and deeply through your mouth until the medication is fully aerosolized (usually takes about 1015 minutes).
Once completed, turn off the nebulizer, clean all parts according to the manufacturer’s guidelines, and store them properly.
